Jazz.FM91 in Toronto put on an awesome event seminar for aspiring musicians, The Musician’s Toolkit: What it Takes to Succeed in Today’s Music Business on April 11 2015 at Jazz.FM91's Long & McQuade Performance Hall. Mark from Jazzz.FM91 asked if i could come out and document the event in photos.

The various speakers and panels included Jeff Levenson from New York, Carol Gimbel, Josh Grossman, Tracy Jenkins, Barry Shiffman, Brad Baker, Steve Bellamy, Peter Cardinali, Ernesto Cervini, Ashley Sperling, Eric Alper, Sarah Baumann, Jane Harbury, Amy McConnell as well as the host, Jazz.FM91's Mark Micklethwaite.

These speakers and panel members are from across the music industry including Record Labels, Publicists, Producers, Marketing Directors, Artists, Program Directors, Booking Agents, Journalists and Artists among other areas of the music business.

It was a very formative event and well worth attending. Somewhat sobering as well defining how the music industry works and the challenges artists face trying to make a career in a changing industry.
